Fear Of Reality (The Lost "Gama Records Album")

Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Certified organic 80s thrash metal, lost for almost 40 years but resurrected from the grave! Many thrash bands have come and gone, and come again, but few ever got the riffs and changeups just right. These guys surely did just that, separating thrash from the genre jungle as an art to be worshipped.

This is killer old school thrash, tho suffers the weak production typical of the 80s. I wonder what they could do with a little remastering?

Sudden Darkness was a Thrash Metal band from Germany, featuring Neudi on drums who later was in acts like Manilla Road, Savage Grace, Roxxcalibur, Viron and many more, currently playing in the legendary 80s band Trance (Germany). They got a record deal with Gama Records (Darkness, Stormwitch, Vectom, Necronomicon etc.) in 1987 and recorded the album that same year at Zuckerfabrik Studio in Stuttgart (Exumer, SDI, Tokyo Blade etc.). After some weeks the band got 12 testpressings...and that´s it. Gama went bankrupt and the LP was not released. Sudden Darkness went on as Economist and did one album with Massacre Records before they disbanded. Three years ago the "lost Gama album" saw the light of the day via Stormspell Records (USA) on CD and some months back via vinyl on Diabolic Might Records. If you like German thrash and speed of the eighties, this is the real deal!
